About Us
Dons Party is a mash-up of the successful Melbourne cover band RDO from the mid to late 80’s. Containing 4 of the original members, we
like to believe that we didn’t break up in ’89 – we just took a 25-year vacation!!
After a hiatus of creating businesses, families and getting on with life in general, we regrouped back in 2013 to check if the magic was
still there – and it was!! So off we went again. The intention, at first, was just to get together, jam and enjoy a few beers and keep it
at that – but after encouragement from friends and families, we decided to once again hit the pub scene.
After a few vocalist hirings and departures, we have now settled on a great line up of like-minded and like ‘Aged’ members and just love
getting out and playing some great tunes.
